SUMMARY:Urban Future 2026 – The Better-Cities Event
DESCRIPTION:Urban Future is Europe’s leading gathering for people who make cities better. Each year\, it brings together the world’s most enthusiastic urbanists\, city leaders\, architects\, planners\, and changemakers\, and in 2026\, the movement comes to Ljubljana. \nOver 3.5 days\, the event gathers 2\,000+ CityChangers\, 200 speakers\, 100 partner organisations\, 30 field trips\, and 20 side events\, creating one of the most energetic urban futures communities in Europe. \nLjubljana\, widely recognised for its sustainability leadership\, will host a packed programme across the city: hands-on field trips (from cycling routes to urban regeneration sites)\, bold conversations on mobility\, climate\, governance\, and design\, and an international community ready to exchange ideas and build new collaborations. \nThis year also introduces the Young Leaders of 2026—60 emerging voices from 24 countries—and an expanded field trip programme that lets participants explore Ljubljana’s transformation from the ground up. \nLearn more at urban-future.org →
